NIT PICKING VS GRACE CHANGED ME
Matthew 7 1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Funny thing in this life is everyone in their own mind believe they are right, I am guilty who isn't? But with the Lord's presence in my life He gives me conscience saying Charles you are wrong and you need to see that. What gets me is when Christians or even other people of faith have the nerve to preach something and than the very thing they preach with a smile lol. I am thinking wow you have attempted to scare me with your words and than the same thing you preach against you do.....................?
Jesus being God in every parable He spoke there is more to those words than those words............... with me here? I get what He is saying here and I get it goes deeper than what He actually said. First off we have to understand who Jesus was talking to>>? Well he was talking to the Pharisee's. In that time they where insane legalist that thought they where better than everyone and God's chosen so on and so on. They laid frustration on people and made impossible rules they couldn't keep. And even caused the people harm that didn't follow these impossible rules.
Every heard a sermon that left your jaw dropped after and you are thinking derrr da derrrr what the heck are you talking about? I sure have and man no Spirit ministering to me some guy babbling BS sounds pretty boring and meaningless if you ask me. Many of them say in passion thou shall give me thy money now in a bold voice, God will Bless thee if thou gives me your money.........................? I mean seriously............. preacher man your job is to feed the sheep guy and if ya ain't feeding the sheep you are not doing your job to get paid. It's like frustrated stressed out people going into the doors of a Church to get a sigh of relief but instead they get psychological BS fear tactics give me your money etc.
My point is that preaching is legalism nothing else and them using psychological methods to cut your conscience apart from God, which can really burden and stress people out even more. If I go to a drink machine put the dollar in and if I only got a empty bottle do you think I would keep going back wasting my money? Heck no I'd go to the machine where I can get something for what I am paying for. Legalism and nit picking to death push many away from the love of Christ. Isn't that the point of Salvation??? I mean seriously??? Man accepts Christ= Christ's love compels man>>>? Isn't that the whole point of salvation?? Sure it is, why do many make it more?? Money and promotion purposes end of story.
