I love the movies

Every now and then I am surprised by a movie. I tune in thinking it's going to mindless entertainment and I am pleasantly treated to something better. Yesterday I watched "Boy eats girl". I expected 80 minutes of so-so acting and a couple of gory scenes. I was wrong. The acting was good, the characters well developed. The gore was exceptional and enough of it to make a special effects person like myself euphoric. There was just the right balance of monster movie, love story and friendship to make this a big hit.

not a movie buff myself, spinetingler, but certain films while not life changing, do have an effect on different people, and stick in the mind, for me personally, it was, '' THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY'' '' THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION'' and the old classic, '' CASABLANCA ''

Todays movie, Hollow Man 2. It was truly a hollow experience. No real drama, no palatable suspense, no character development, no enjoyable dialog, no really cool eye-popping special effects, no stand-out hero, no exciting villain, just "YUCK".
