Blind date ???

I’ve been single umm..since when..1-2 years.dunno Cant remember. My sister is worry about me. Well, she set a secret dinner with this guy.
She asked me out to dinner on Saturday nite. 10-15 minutes we talked just like sisters. No serious topic. But, suddenly, a big tall guy came near our table, and smile at my sister. He sat next to my sister. She introduced me to him. doh
I realized, she set me a blind date. Well..not a really “blind date”. She was not leaving, she was still sitting next to me. And he asked some questions to me. I tried to be polite, but I felt not comfortable with the situation. 1 hour dinner seemed like a year. Phew... teddybear

I wouldn't worry too much. I've been single almost 8 years. On this summer, 8 years is up.

i understand what you mean about other people in your life not understanding that it is okay to be single. my parents act like its "wrong" to be single. they keep trying to fix me up too. Like you, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I am not sure if they are doing it for us single people or if they are doing it because it makes them uncomfortable...doh
