Why so many "Widowed"

In searching profiles here, I found a very strange phenomenon that quite a lot of males just in their early 40's are "widowed". So what happens to their wives... Why they died so early?

Just wondering "why" and share my very strange feeling here...

Thanks Amrita, your very true advice and information.

Sometimes I feel very insecure to see so many "young" widow that I just wonder what happens to their wives... now at least I know may be they are still alive...
A widespread trick... Be careful! wave
No its true. This one guy said he was a widow and he seemed nice and genuine but when I gave a rather rude remark, he responded, "So nice to hear back from you." LOL. I'm getting good with unmasking people though on this site! Maybe I can translate my new found skills to real life!
LOL, OMG I can't believe only the men are insincere! But there is nothing that bothers me more than a liar!
And I bet they all told their wifey not to eat those Black Forest mushrooms..NOT !!!!cheers
I have to admit I was wondering the same thing at first... really are there that many widowed men out there ??? then I thought perhaps maybe when filling out profiles they did not pay attention or skipped over question but over time you learn what to look for and I now know... the one from today said widowed of course... hair stated as brown except photo very distinctly gray and of course other things did not match as well and distance not a concern.... the little red flags appear one by one in conversations so pay very close attention to things said !!!!! Take Care!!!conversing
although it is none of you bussiness but my wife was 58 and died
of a massive heart attack so yes I am a widower

Wineman42, Sorry to learn your beloved wife passed away, with my sympathy.....
Most of them were sleeping during the tsunami.
