Wrinkles ….

Why is it so many people are obsessed with their wrinkles?

Botox injections ... facelifts?

And for what? Chasing that evasive fountain of youth?

Come on, now ... there’s NO WAY in the world you’re going to be able to turn the clock back & have smooth skin like a baby’s bum ... ever again.

Wrinkles are the road map of your life’s journey, and each & every single one should be cherished, embraced & celebrated.

Look back on your life ... remember that day you laughed so hard you almost choked? Tears rolling down your face into your coffee?

Every laugh line tells a story.

Every frown tells another one.

Why would anyone want them removed?

That's a bit like burning a photo album ... and who in their right mind would do that?

Growing older is a part of life,
and the wrinkles of life will arrive & multiply
as the years of joy & sadness come and go.

ENJOY.

Who wouldn't want to look the best they can look? If I had the money I would have a couple cosmetic procedures.Nothing big which would require anesthetic, but maybe microdermabrasion and some filler.
The dog looks like me in the morning before I apply the avon firming cream.Better known as miracles in a jar.Good stuff
@ maryrachelle

... each to their own .. I prefer to "grow old gracefully". I think living a full life IS looking the best as you can. Every wrinkle telling a story ... good and bad.

@Jodestir

If you prefer to grow old gracefully then why are you wearing makeup and dying your hair? Wouldn't allowing your hair to turn it's natural color as it ages and not putting makeup on your face contradict growing old gracefully?
@ maryrachelle

Makeup and hair are NOT SKIN!! Have u never seen a little old lady with a purple rinse in her hair?? FABULOUS!!

Now THAT'z growing old gracefully!

I have seen little old ladies with the colored hair and little round red cheeks.Happy as clams and way to sweet.
Oh I get it.So people are only allowed to do things to make themselves look younger that YOU approve of.roll eyes

Hair ages and when it ages it turns grey.Dying it is fighting the aging process therefore "NOT" aging gracefully. You are also putting products on your skin that help make it look younger, therefore not aging gracefully.

Hey whatever you have to tell yourself to keep patting yourself on the back.laugh

Personally I do it all.I wear makeup,I use creams and serums to fight aging,I dye my hair and should I get enough money together I am taking a trip to the plastic surgeon to have lazer resurfacing to get rid of the years of pock marks and scars that acne left behind.Oh and I will also get my eyes fixed so that I no longer need glasses.

I am fighting aging with everything I have in me.No need to look like a used up old bag when I am still walking around. When you look good you feel good.
Oh i gave up trying to get rid of my wrinkles ages ago,i once try to dye my hair back to Black hair only have it turn Purple
Now iam getting use to the gray, been told my gray brings out my eyes blushing blushing
@ maryrachelle

.. er .. excuse me … but the blog is about surgery: Facelifts … SURGICAL REMOVAL of wrinkles … NOT makeup, hair colour or creams … A person can look good without going under the knife …

However, you’re quite welcome to put across your viewpoint … just as I have mine.

As I pointed out in my very first comment to you … “each to their own”.
@ terbear57

YES! ... the grey does bring out your eyes! ...

Surgery? NOT in a million years ... barf
I've earned every wrinkle I have - smile wrinkles! And I look better with light brown hair, so I color it - $10 bucks and it looks like a million. Light on the make-up and I'm good to go. I still can't believe I'm 60 - what a hoot! lmao
Wrinkles can sometimes look good
Wrinkles add warmth in a face. Its hard to explain.
Now that's seriously cute !
I'm not obssesed with my wrinkles
My wrinkles are obssesed with me
It won't leave me alone rolling on the floor laughing
Ready to get rich? laugh

Invent an iron that works on skin.
whatever59 I,m kind of interested in "Avon firming Cream",I might give it a go,,failing that,I just do not use my glasses to look in the mirror....
Maybe I should not be so vain!!!!I mean what have I to be vain about!!!
Yes love do I agree with you and think these people need to have surgery to convince themselfs that they can look young again!
I would like to add that you are very beautiful and look fantastic for your age lovewow
