someone explain plz

why is it that, for example, if i am a female with male tendencies and think i was supposed to be a male do I go and take male hormones to make me male but I don't just take female hormones to make me feel more female as I already have the female tools.To make myself totally male would also involve dangerous surgery. This goes vice versa as well.

If you are a female, you don't have to take female hormones because our bodies naturally create them unless you have a disease, disorder or surgery that took out the parts that produce the hormones.

Not sure if that's what you're asking...

The surgery can be dangerous and very expensive but some people feel like they are living the wrong life in the wrong genders body and they feel like that is the only way they will be truly happy.
