Every profile I read is looking for an "honest" pe

It seems it doesn't matter if it's male or female. Are people really that dishonest? What do they gain from it? I was in back to back long relationships so I guess I don't have the dating experinces of some others so I really woulk like to hear some thoughts or experiences you've had. All lies are eventually found out so I don't understand what people gain.

Well, I think everyone puts that in their profile. We are all looking for honesty in a relationship. I don't know why we put it on our profiles because is someone really says, well I'm dishonest so I wont reply. No. I think its just a characteristic trait people look for, just like kindness.

Honesty is just matter of perception in many instances. Imo

Much in the same way we all say a good man or woman.

I understand some lie more than others but the biggest lies are the ones we tell ourselves.

Hugger that's my point. She lied to herself about what she really wanted. Had she been honest from the beginning the relationships probably would have never happened and she may have found the right man for her long ago.
