Im going to South Africa
Next week.I must get a shot of hepatit A and B vaksine my friends doctor wife told me, so im seeing her for that tomorrow.
I don't even know what that is.
How about malaria?
Any reason to fear that in Johannesburg?
How about south africa in general?

It's a 14 hr drive; but nice to break it up if you have the time.
Take an easy drive with lot of stops, & quick visits.
Stay over night in the Karoo (nice farm areas) & next day drive through the wine farms into Cape! Roads Good, Cops BAD!
I think you'll only need the malaria tablets if you're travelling in certain areas, like national parks and so.
Anyway, have a great trip and a great time with Tange and her family; nothing like a family stay to get to know a country.
Safe journey and most important enjoy!!
I got an email in the week from;
I gotta go to work now; if you have any more queries, you may email me!
get many pictures and update us on your trip...
under a mosqito net!
most of the time,
and the rest..
People might give you some funny looks though
At least you're ready to go now... so exciting!
Happ happ.
But I can't wait to hear about your trip; how long will you stay in SA?
i work for a healthcare institution, there are list of vaccines that u need to follow depending in which country or continent you r going... not only hep a and b, anyway it will take sometime for incubation period if
its hapatitis.
yellow fever vaccine also differs from time to time depending on what bacterial strains is in season.
but mind u, give your body at least 2weeks before travelling to develop. :)
Enjoy your holiday!
Be honest older i become more afraid of needles I am .
Just layed down 5min after it and it went ok.

Thanks cainlen.
Thay gave me a combo of 3 more besides the heppa,
