Longest day

Today is the longest day of the year here. The sunrise is at 5:30 AM and the sunset at 21:30 P.M.
As a rare coincidence, today is also the shortest night wink
How is it in your region?

Oooh... looks hot really. Maybe the clouds on the mountains will bring a little of rain (hopefully)
no rain there , its been over 2 weeks and all the sky in the picture would be black , the hill in the back ground is less than a mile away wave
I see you live in a zone whit a lot of 'green'. I hope it helps to get a little of cold air at the night.
Here where I live, all you see is cement(it is a big city sigh)
we are not over run with people yet , so towns 7 klms away and the nearest city is 4 hours drive away ,

heres the beach at low tide , looking south
Shortest day here, sunset 19.10, it takes 10 mins for the dark to descend. We are in the middle of winter. Our daytime temps are approx 80ºf/26ºc & night time we have desert temps of 57ºf/14ºc
It might snow on the volcano, which is the 3rd largest in the world, from Jan to March in which case we will get rain. Sometimes we get tropical storms, which are not so good. We have a max of 6 days rain per year.
In the summer we can go above 40ºc. not very pleasant, but this is a gorgeous island paradise.
FYI, my archipelago is approx 100 kms from Morocco, N coast of Africa. We are Spanish Islands.
Short here-raining and dark, and crazy xmas shopper's-I am avoiding the "collective consciousness" at this time!!!wow
Oh, you have interesting time zone there. I wonder how it feels like having sunset at 21:30. I already feel very weird when the sun didn't set at 7pm here. hehe

Maybe it's like the movie "The proposal" by Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds when I saw Sandra had night slept in Alaska when the sun still there. I wonder so much.
Leonardo...Same here Must be something to do with being in the Southern Hemeroid!!! dunno wow thumbs up
handshake cheers
