I’m afraid of getting old

My doctor told me: ‘Congratulations!!! You will live a long life.’
Then I thought if that was a good or a bad news.
Happens that I have been taking conscious about what might expect from the future.
I have recently found there is a kind of elder discrimination, even from those who are already old.
Some woman told me: ‘old men smell old’. That is the first time I hear that confused
Another woman told me: ‘old men bound to have prostate issues; I don’t want to involve with’
Plus all calamities you will find according you are getting older.
So my thought still is: is it worth to have a long life? sigh

It's certainly better than dying young.
Besides, "old" is relative.
It's 20 years older than whatever the other person is.
When I was 6, 26 was very old. laugh
Hola Leonardowave

Don't be afraid of getting old. Don't let the numbers scare you. You live your life, keep young at heartwine
gods plan?ignore the mean folks n pray for them.
ok folks. I have a friend about my age who said:'I'm afraid to die young'. Her mother stared her and said: 'too late' laugh
if you have a boring life, NO, you can as well die now.
But you can still have a lot of fun even when you are oldyay People can stay in shape and doens't have to smell bad. If you date your own age you will not feel old.
The answer is simple, Stop talking to women. Your dog will never tell you that you smell or about your prostate.
cheers
A couple months ago I found myself on a ventilator fighting for my life having suffered a heart attack. The experience of having consciousness while machines kept me alive unable to even BREATHE for myself certainly broadened my already panoramic perspective.
Weighing the "old" smell and other minor inconveniences against the possibility of hearing my monitor let out that final long "BeeeeeeeeeeP" rather than the happy little series of beeps.......
I'll take getting older over a beautiful memorial service anytime! Bring on 70!!!!
Buck! Thank you for sharing it! thumbs up hug
