What is the point of sacrifice and suffering if nobody see's or acknowledges. Whether personal or on a battlefield we all like to be recognised.
Who has the most medals? Why, the generals of course. The ones least likely to see the real fighting.

though expensive.
New-York hospitals in the early 70's couldn't provide the basic care for their soldiers coming back from Nam - resources were being chanelled into a war that was hurting the people in the US & Vietnam - the best thing there was to see the troops coming home.
War has many sides
1) To protect your country
2) To protect your interests
3) Civil War
4) A just War
5) A war for freedom
but every country has their own reason's for war & I believe in medal's of honour - my country fought a war in poverty for freedom.
