the normality of being heart sick

Is it normal to be heart sick over someone from 6 years ago and whome you have not seen in 4 years?
I've always heard tales from middle age men to old timers that in a life with women and relationships there will only be 1 just 1.
Once this 1 girl comes or goes there will never be the same feeling for another. you could get married to someone else say i love you and be glad you met her BUT that 1will always be the 1.
You will always have that song that reminds you of her
That smell that stops you in your tracks
see her face no matter where you go
I was 26 now im 32 I've never felt the same way and I've never had the feeling of .a replacement. I believer when you die you live your entire life again the same way you've lived it before. until we meet again
