Life's work

Sometimes I cant help but wonder, why I am here, why was I born. When things go really rough and seems there is no end to trials, I do not ever see the reason why I am here. Am I here to suffer and be sorrowful? Or I am here because I am destined for something great.

That's a choice only you can make I think. If it were me I would go for something great. Who knows, it may just work out.thumbs up
"Why I am here?" "Why was I born?"

Why concern yourself with questions like those?
Just live. Make your mind healthy. How you think
determines the life you live; the world you see.

That's how life work
In times of troubles, I just think of this, "That God do not give us heavy burdens that we can't carry". It all pass po. And you are right, you are destined for something great. teddybear
This is a question we normally don't like to face.

Has/is our life worthwhile? If we died tomorrow what would we be remembered for?

We can't all be Martin Luther King or Ghandi - but maybe it is the small things that go un-noticed even by ourselves. You may have helped a complete stranger when they needed it who then passed it on, who then passed it on again.......

For me - I watched my son's grow into men that I am proud off. For some folk I know it is harder - having to work abroad from their family and children but, still hoping that life will be better for them.

While we are alive we can strive each day to bring a little good and happiness into someones life.

Without that - well..........

I try not to ask big questions to which there probably aren't any good answers. Just try to appreciate the small good things which do come my way.
Thank you Shay. Prayers and faith is all we have and the knowledge that our small sacrifices means a lot to our families.dancing

Thanks zandar...we all hear not-so-good things everyday when we read the paper, watch TV etc. Some of our friends are sick, others going through divorce, separation...and in the midst of all these..we cannot help but appreciate the things that we have.
Well I can tell you from personal experience from someone who asks himself that question everyday that everything happens for a reason. We may not have a reason or know at the current time what it is, but as long as you never give up all the pieces will start to fit and everything will make sense. It's just sometimes it may take a couple of minutes or even a couple of years to find the right pieces.
professor Treat all of your time on Earth as one big educational passé - learn, live & have fun doing just that! Nothing else matters! wine laugh yay peace
