So sorry to hear about your horses, do you keep them in the stable and out of the rain?...We had a farm up in Lindsey Ontario, and whenever it rained my Dad would put the horses in the stable. Gosh, I miss the farm so much, so peaceful.
They are really intelligent animals. I remember them running under these pine trees and brushing their coats on the branches. They did this to get some of the "tar" and scent on them which helped them keep the bot flies and other parasites off of them.

Been heavy rains on and off these last 2 months.
And it does get muddy, very very muddy as a matter
of fact out on my farm too. I don't have horses but
I have to walk around my farm wearing rubber boots
and not counting the numerous times I slid off and
fell down....gggggrrrrrr....

Two days ago,we had a strong windy and rain here.
About horse...when I was a kid we had 2 horses..one was a female.She kicked my mom..we are so thankful my mom was safe and the baby(my sister) yes my mom was pregnant that time I was there the witness how the horse kicked my mom.I was only a kid that time
Now,my sister is living in Canada...we always teasing her every time she get mad...because she is like a horse
Marlene....my horses do not kick but are gentle and happy. (even though saddest doesn't think so)
