It is time for Oregon

You may or may not remember, but I have a daughter in Oregon (I posted about us in a "skipping" blog). Her husband is a professor at Oregon State University and she works at the VA Hospital. They have 2 wonderful kids. It's a little early yet because we won't be there until the 21st. And by "we" I mean my 2 other kids. But what the heck. I'm getting antsy about it.

I am so fortunate that even though I couldn't get along with their mother we are still a close family and the kids treat the situation nice. They spend time with mom and with me, separately. We have no unkind words at the ex and the kids love it.

I have such a beautiful family. They have never been unkind with one another and they love each other dearly. And best of all, they love me alot and me them!!

I will post some pictures when I return.

Thanks for your nice comment. You know, I have never been good at trivia unless it's about baseball because I was affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers for 20 years at one time.

Ed...it's funny you mention that lol...my siblings were a pain in the neck to...but when I was younger. Now that we're adults, I am close with 3 out of four of my sisters. One of them, we don't get along, so we just remain civil and agree to disagree. wave
Ed that is so great, iam so happy for youcheers
Thank you Callio. Too bad were one state away or I would love to have some lunch with you. Actually, we will be in Portland and thats real close to Washington! Let me know!! You can meet my family too!

@ RC: We kinda get along now but there were 11 others and 7 are gone. Of those only one was pretty cool and we argued but we got along pretty good. The last 4 have done the same. We agree and I visit them occasionally. It doesn't mean I don't love them because I do. I'm glad your happy now!
Marlene! Thank you so much. I know I will surprise her!!!! She probably understands that dialect. She is from Sendai.
