Challenge, accepted!
Today was my first day of work after 1 month holiday (yes, as a teacher, I have 1 month holiday during the school holiday. Hell yeah!). Last year, I was a teacher assistant in a special education department. Now, I'm officially a class teacher. I still have 1 tandem class with the senior teacher, but I got 2 classes of my own. 2 kids in each class.As a new class teacher, I'm sort of anxious. I'm still a newbie in this teaching thing. I'm still learning to "read" the children's characters (plus, I got 1 new kid in my class, which makes it more challenging for me). I'm also still learning to manage the class and how to be firm to these kids. Yet, I see this as an opportunity for me to learn more new things, to strive to be a good teacher, and to gain more knowledge and experience for my future plans. Challenge is accepted! Bring it on!
Should you have any exerience in teaching area, or perhaps, in special education, please do not hesitate to share it with me. I'm open to any suggestions, stories, and whatever that you got with you.
