Unfortunately, trying to hang onto someone in those conditions can only make things worse for the other person. I know things like that hurt, but no matter what the situation is, it is a two way street and the other person has to be considered. You cannot make someone love you...it has to be something they feel from the start and it blossoms out. It hurts like hell, but letting them go is best all the way around. Someday, maybe I will tell you how I know that for sure.

Sol, let's say that the guy asks the girl to leave him whenever ahe gets the chance because he thinks he's not good enough for her. But the girl still loves the guy dearly. Another note, they're in a long distance relationship.

Generally speaking..... When a man tells a woman he is not "good" enough for her it is usually because the guy has found love elsewhere and does not have the courage to break another love's heart by saying the relationship is over.

I went through that...it was a 4 year LDR, although we saw each other frequently...the LDR was getting to him and the fact that he couldn't find a job in Maryland...sure it broke my heart,

, but I had to let go and wished him well. Why should one person stay miserable in a relationship? I got over it...and am very happy.

You have to ask the question weather that person feels the same way.....if the answer is no then there's your answer. I personally do not believe that you can MAKE someone love you, no matter how much you believe you love them, it has to be a mutual feeling, a chemical reaction between the two of you. I guess this also boils down to the age old notion of understanding the difference between being "in love" and loving someone.

I'm sorry for not telling you what you want to hear but time is not waiting for anyone, but please, this is just my opinions and I am in no way an expert on these matters.

Lady the only thing you can do is listen to your heart in this I agree with what several people have said on here but in the long run it is only our opinions and nothing more love is not a forced thing it can't be it hurts and feels good it makes us laugh and cry you just have to decide what type of love you have and what it is worth going through in the end
