a good place for a writer to get some new ideas.grin cheers
Etlal you have my permission.handshake
Hi bungallow, if you go onto google.de and put in "mieten" (which is to rent) you should have enough websites coming up. Most places aren't furnished (apart from the kitchen itself in most cases), keep that in mind.

Best of luck, now you have to make up your mind where you're exactly going to move to. handshake
yes you will have to find a place with a huge hot tub , so you and all your friends can have a soak together banana
Yes you could come here but did you see the map of Australia put up byconfused most of its right exept the crocodiles and poisonous snakes are spread far wider.laugh doh doh cheers thumbs up

to write.Nena do you have any particular place in Germany that
you can recommend it?beer handshake
Have u got roots in Germany? Why should u go there? It is cold and rainy in wintertime, many places r overpopulated. Some like ghettos. What can u afford to pay? Anyway much cheaper somewhere else.
yes and in some places the dragonflies are big enought to give you a black eye ...wave
This german woman offered u a place in her house! I have never been offered something like that. So what about it?
There are many nice places in Germany, a lot of the old, historic cities and there are some quiet, remote places around mountain ranges. Bavaria is a nice place and you get lots of rural living there, too.
I like the west, the Eifel is a nice mountain area and you have bigger cities like Cologne and Aachen near, as well as being close to the borders to Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg etc. I would recomment to move at least near a bigger town, it might making contact easier.

Best of luck, maybe contact some of the German people on CS in the area you want to move to.
guadal I have no roots in Germany...I lived in Aschaffenbug
for2 years when I was in the army...since then I fell for
Germany their language, the food and the cold winter...but
I don't want to live in a ghetto.dunno
guadal what german woman you're talking about? I can't
remmember her.confused
Well, u know this area better than me.
Well, u should read or own blogs.
Nena you gave me the best recommendation...I had heard this are
is full of History and a good place to live.cheers
guadal now I know the German woman you're talking about
I thought she was only joking.doh she's from Bremen...Ja.
i searched: Germany, room mate wanted, and a lot of sites came up. if you are just writing in your room, a room mate might be nice until you find where you want to be. the language will come easier. just a thought.
Germany is a safe place form what i know also Austria i like it more well but Germany is fine too. Try Hamburg city i heard from some friends of mine who was there is very nice. wave
if you just google for immo germany you will find some good sites. where in germany would be best for you since only you know precise what you are looking for. I think i would like to check out freiburg if i would move there since it is one of the most convenient cities there.. they have some real active gouverment when it comes to making the citie very green. Allot of new investments in public transportation, parks and all kinds of projects to make life easyer. It has been described as one of the most modern cities.
