Clubbing

Not big into clubbing but occasionally it is ok. Friends decided to go clubbing and I had no plans to we started early. The first one we went to had some celebrity coming over and their cover charge turned out to be $65 per person so it was decided not to go there as none of us was a big fan. Moved onto the next one and waited in the line for a bit and realized it was huge and we could rather go to another one that was a bit of a drive but one of my friends had read some interesting event there so we headed there - found out a bunch of people but all middle aged and we were like misfit so decided to leave and head to yet another one. By this time, I was almost trying to hide my boredom but headed along as I did not want to be a spoil sport. Finally reached that club back into the city. We had already been to the city once before heading out to the burbs. Paid the cover charge and it seemed like the night was just beginning. We got some drinks and then something struck one of my friends and the whispering amongst our group started. I was just enjoying the drinks and watching the girls when all of a sudden the group kind of converged pulling me in with them and it was discovered that it is a gay night. I cracked up so hard and that started my other friends too as we ran out of the club. Now P the friend who was keen on recommending this club is going to be a victim of our teasing for a loooong time to come. Finally back to home. Lesson learned - ask if it is gay night before paying cover charge and ordering drinks - wink
