Someone Threatened Me in My Mailbox Here!!!
I'm unsure what to think, I thought if someone threatened to come after you in your mailbox here they would be thrown off the site! But this has happened to me and despite my reporting it twice and sending links etc, the person who threatened me is still here! Am I wrong is presuming that they would be banned? Does anyone know what the rule is here. Don't mention names please, I'm just trying to find out what's meant to happen about this if anything?

I have no idea where he lives, people can put any country into their profile but that's not really the point. I know a friend here over a year ago something similar happened but a guy threatened her on here in the forums and he was banned within a couple of hours. This guy has threatened both me and my partner, it's not about whether he can/would or will do anything it's the actual threat itself and my puzzlement that he is still here as if nothing happened!
I just thought I'd put it out there and see if someone knows is this meant to be dealt with in any specific way as I know on other sites it definitely wouldn't be tolerated.
I have so far been lucky and not gotten any threatning ones . If you did report it ( and in this case you should ) and the person is still here then send a message directly to the mods asking why this is allowed . Keep the message for evidence and do not stop untill you get an answer. The mods do a rather good job here but being limited they might take some time to reply or respond .
Just remember that the net as well as real life is full of all types of indaviduals and not all of them are hitting on all cylinders .
PS: Trust only those that you know you can . After a while you will know who is and who isn't in that catagory .
Ladybee, the site actually says something to the effect of, "Your report, along with other information we receive, will be taken into consideration. You may or may not hear from us again, but we will be looking at this."
Then, you can always ask someone you trust to check and see if they are still here afterwards.
Do send another complaint to CS. Sometimes site admins. are slow and other times act quickly. Each time will be different and also may have a different priority level. Again, your not blocking could indicate this person not really being a threat to you.
Lots of weirdos around, don't let it get to you.
People are brave behind a screen from the safety of their homes. Ignore them,block them and put it out of your head.
I don't need therapy but I think this guy definitely does
