Ground Hostess in Victoria/Vancouver?? education!?

Hey guys...
I asked a lot of people and no one could help me. They even didn't know the name of the profession which I like to practice. I think it is mentioned as ground hostess. That means working at the airport. Chek-in and something like that.
I just like to know if this kind of career exist and how I could reach this kind of profession.

Contact the Airlines regarding careers. They will answer all your questions. If it's working not for an airline but the airport staff contact the airport career center. All of this is on their websites under a heading such as: Contact Career Opportunities.

As long as airports exist and there are plane foot traffic... you may apply for a counter hostess..apply to any airlines!!!

My sister used to work behind the counters here at check in, the staff there are known as "Terminal Services" and usually you have to apply to each airline to get the job unless there is a recruitment agency that does the hiring on an airlines behalf. I hope this has been useful and good luck.

Julsche85, I found a website you can check out. There was a whole listing of sites under the web search "Ground Hostess". The site itself uses the term, "Host/Hostess, Ground". Hope this helps.
