Snow

Called back home (Switz) today and they already have the first snow, so it'll be a long, cold and hard winter by the looks of it. Can be great go for a walk in deep snow, blue sky and freezing temparatures, come home, sit closed by the fire and be satisfied. But isn't it lovlier to enjoy summer, be outside most of the they, go for a swim in the river/see where ever?

Hi Gordonski, yes Swiss, but, does it really matter where we all come from? No one does choose the place or family to be born in. It is just destiny. Anyway, thank you for the compliment. Wow, us Southerners can't even begin to contemplate your cold temperatures & lifestyles...We have had snow a few times here - sign of changing times!
In peak winters we can have overnight lows of about -8 C average but during the days it rises to about 10 C. cheers wine yay peace

Hi, shay28, you can have ALL of it! Try to drive on snow, not that easy, especially if ice unterneath. Even mor fun, if you forget to change the wheels; driving round with summer tires on snowrolling on the floor laughing gives you the feeling of skaeting!

Shay, I know in Dubai there is a place with artificial snow when you can ski and play with the snow. My daughter skied there so maybe you can visit or there is the same somewhere near you? laugh wave

Hi danayea, Switz isn't as great as you may think it is. Has got the image of the Choc country. Have to admitt, the Swiss are rather complicatet. You didn't miss anything at all!

Jana, there is also a place like that here but since it is just a small city where I live now, the place is just so small and only offering ice skating for a small space. Been there once.

I love winter with lot of snow. It`s so peaceful and beautiful outside when it snows!
Every one season has its beauty and honestly I like all 4 seasons, but nothing can compare with a silens nights, when it snow!
