Any strong men in Lancashire

with nothing to do this afternoon?
I have a ton of hardwood logs being delivered and the wagon cannot get close enough to the house to unload them (I live up a little country lane) so....................... armed with my wheelbarrow I shall be pretty busy this afternoon.
wow
My arms will be 10cm longer by close of play today. peace

Have a feeling anytime soon someone's going to crack a joke about seeing your pic & wood of there own to deal with, I'd do the joke but far too crude for me rolling on the floor laughing

Sitting in my office all alone - I am working (honest!) and just had probably one of the nicest compliments I have ever had.
Just HAD to tell someone, feel free to ignore me.

One of our customers said:

'You should be on the radio you have one of the most soothing and calming voices I have ever heard' and he wasn't chasing money either.

I shall go about my log moving with a little glow on my face blushing
well just think .....50 wheel barrow loads and your almost done wave
All done applause
It would have been easier without hail and thunder snowglobe
Off to a hog roast bonfire evening, that is if I don't fall asleep by the log fire.

If a woodchuck could chuch wood?
Boy, you're not kidding! The lanes go everywhere in Darwen. Lot of dead ends, loops, etc. A person could get lost over there.
Going to be warm and cosy. Toasted crumpets and marshmallows. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Now, see, you could have put a sign at the end of your lane saying you needed help, and you could have had a nice piece of pie and a drink ready for them when they finished helping you. I bet you would have gotten plenty of help, not to mention some new friends. grin
Brilliant Huggerman, now why didn't I think of that confused
It was well worth the effort, I have had a lovely warm cosy weekend and the house smells amazing. I don't even mind the cleaning my longer stronger arms come in useful. There are two layers of logs there so they should keep me going right through till Spring. sheep
