fairytales..

I gotta say.. i actually love these kind of stories.. I still read some now and again. Another thing i really love is the disney movies, pixar and such are wonderfull too.. My nephews are getting bigger now so can't use them as an excuse to watch em nowadays.. but i've seen pretty much every single one their is and got most of them on dvd..

Its a skill that i truly admire.. being creative enough to take children away from reality and make them believe in an entire different world. its allot of hard work to create one of those stories and i have the upmost respect for people that can manage that.

If i really need to pick one.. i think my favourite disney would be the lion king.. i just love that one.. or maybe jungle book??.. thats another great one.. Oh well i guess i could name them all as favourite.. they all have such a wonderfull message for our kids. a message of hope, a message of kindness, a message of a better future.

Hey Teddy so it went well glad to hear it,as for the kids movies ive lost touch cant say ive seen one in years.cheers thumbs up wave
O God Ted u go about things the wrong way.

I like to show them wild life documentries where the lion is ripping apart the buffalo/zebra/ or whatever its killing.

What they gonna do if they ever meet a real lion after watching lion-king??proberly run over to make friends only to be eaten

reindeeri would even advise them keep away from rudolf with those dangerous antlers.
yeah those are also great movies sernity4two.. how about mulan? I always liked that one as well. and The Emperor's New Groove (sorry not sure about this title.. we usually say the dutch title.) I have been laughing so hard with that one... oh oh and the little mermaid.. Thats so cute
I geuss i have a harder skin than most Ted.
Its all about survival for medancingsanta
laugh i was honestly gonna say Mulan and snow white and bambi and,,,,,,,,, ah now , i could list them all off , but sure you all know them laugh Disney movies wether you're 6 or 60 are there for all to enjoy ! they are timeless !
tormented.. the way i see it.. you gotta be soft and gentle when you can.
But I'm hard as a rock when i need to be. I've only really been angry 3 times in my life and i'm proud of that. I have allot of selfcontrole and everyone knows that.. but they also know that once they get me mad.. they better start running because i'll hunt them down for life.
Tormented --you have a soft side i'm sure handshake
it is good to let your inner child out from time to time grin banana
serenity4two.. Not sure if older people know all the latest movies.. sure the classics are known by everyone but the new stuff is usually a bit harder. Most guys won't admit liking them.. at least thats what i notice in my part of the world. Sure i like snowhite, cinderella, bambi and such.. but those are really slow and the storylines are a bit out of date.. but still great for children. Ok maybe lets have a voting.. who cried while watching bambi??
I did
Well i have no problem with that other kind either.. but yeah when watching movies or soaps i just cry easy.. My ex used to find it hilarious.. when it was a sad moment she just knew i was crying.. without even looking she would hand me a kleenex "here ya go big man" and then she laughed.. What can i say.. i still have the ability to loose myself in stories like that.
Yes i have a soft side serenity.

Only tday i threw the toys out of the pram cuz i could'nt get me own wayfrustrated handshake

Wish i was soft and warm ted but am hard as a re-inforced concrete wall and colder than the coldest icesnowglobe
all you need is the right women and that ice would melt i'm sure about that
Tormented ,i too love the kind of nature programmes you were talking about earlier - especially ones showing elephants / whales , and my all time fav is Dolphins --fascinating creatures ! but there must be some soppy movie that can cause just a slight crack in that concrete that surrounds you ??? grin
@serenity
Well Dolphins are just big fish for me Serenity kinda like a mulitable of salmons put together, only difference they have beaks like bigbirdlaugh

I did really like the film the Demon,it made me cry the wrong reasons though.Must of being soft wen i was younger after all comfort
you know you can stop reading when they fall a sleeplaugh
i always want to finish what i start cherrie.. quiting isn't an option LOL besides they usually wake up when you try and stop
thats called hyperactive laugh
AWWW! this brings back many wonderful memories. Little Mermaid the orininal (teenagers....give them an inch and they swim all over you)toooo cute saw it 3x with my nice back in the day.

Never forget "short circuit" the original was best, my nieces are older too but now they have little ones, if not there's always the neighbors kid who loves hangin' out with me, she's a sweety too.

I love all the "ice age" ones too as a matter of fact I have them on dvd and maybe will throw one in,I need a smile, take care, feel better soon teddybear
I love fairytales, love the characters, the good and the bad which in the end the good prevail; or the happily ever after part. But I am fully aware that its just too far from reality, just fantastic to be entertain into such lovely stories.

Hmm, some disney movies I love to watch again and again (newer ones) Meet the Robinsons, Up, Toy Story, Ratatouille (spelling), to name a few.
brazilian, ice age is the coolest.. I love Scrat.. he is so funny rolling on the floor laughing

cyn, reality is the place we should focus on.. but it can help us to relax to let our mind wonder of into a fairytale once in a while.

shay, ratatouille sure is a masterpiece.. I've seen it at least 10 times and still i have to laugh at everything.
sry ted:left out LEAVE just so u knowwave
