Strange you should say that.
I have a specialists appt tomorrow.....swelling has not gone down and its been 3 weeks.
Wounds have healed nicely, but Doctor today says it may have to be cut at the middle knuckle. Thats why i'm going to specialist tomorrow. To find out.
It is twice the size it should be and the doctor is concened that after 3 weeks it should have at least started to return to normal.
being the ring finger on the left hand may mean that i dont wear a ring if i ever remarry.....
Thats how swollen it is after 3 weeks.
After teaching at Uni for
over 25yrs and now have my
own business. My brain is
still pretty much working
as it should and probably
better than most.
So not quitting now NO!!

Doctor thinks it is nerve damage and maybe a bit more.
I will know more tomorrow after seeing the specialist.
The wounds have healed well, some small scarring but hardly noticeable, it is the swelling that is causing concern.

Whilst walking my Dingo 3 weeks ago another dog tried to attack it. My hand was bitten by the other dog.
Wound has healed ok, but swelling is causing all the problem just now.

i still have a constant dull throbbing pain in the finger as well.
how long did it take your swelling to go down?
Just wish pain would subside or just go away.
