We are better then you.. or not?
We are on an international site. We all have different backgrounds, cultures and beliefs. But i have noticed these last few days that we don't seem to respect those differences in some cases.We all have seen the numerous christians spreading the word of God. We might not Always like them but then we just ignore them. But when someone comes out and preaches the word of Allah, that person gets more attacked by other bloggers.. Why???
I'm a christian myself so i know a bit about that bible you claim to follow. I have never seen it written anywhere that you should attack people with other relegions. Why isn't a person with other believes allowed to do the same as you are, with the same freedoms that you enjoy? They ignore your blogs where you are preaching, how about you do the same? Would that be so much to ask?
I personally find it interesting to learn about all religeons, better understanding of eachother is the only way humankind will ever survive and will ever reach global peace. So instead of attacking eachother we should embrace eachother. Especially on an international site.
Anyway thats just my opinion.

I just wish people could follow what you write and not attack each others believes...
I, myself is no Christian, but then again I do not go out in a blog to tell everybody about my believes.. it is for me and me only, easy as that. I keep it to myself, to not hurt anybody or get hurt myself.
I wish everybody else keep their believes to them self and we would have had a much quieter and happy place to be on, and we would create a unique place with peace, NO fights over any religion. That is my wish....
who? give usernames of those christians please.

Again we use " some / those " ... to make all Christians feel guilty. That is called - manipulation. I do not accept.
On this site i am starting to get the annoying feeling that only christians are allowed to express themselves in such ways. Well christians and atheists. Seems like anything else should be kept quiet and I regret that because like i said all it can od is make us all more understanding towards eachother.
And read my blog again but more carefull this time.
Other bloggers seem to be quite able to ignore christians bloggers and accept their freedom to blog about their religion. But as soon someone other then christian does the same he/she will get allot more opposition.
That doesn't mean those christian bloggers are the ones attacking. It just means people seem to be more scared of other religions just because they don't know as much about those other religions. OR they just know the bad sides that get attached to those religions.
I accept just simple answer for simple question.

Could I perhaps suggest that some people who may, or may not be Christian and may, or may not create blogs about their beliefs attack others who express a different faith?
Is it definitely a Christian/Muslim thing, or perhaps an East/West thing? Is it something to do with the West being flooded with propaganda supporting a war for wealth and power using the excuse of religion?
I don't read the religious blogs, so I haven't seen any of the attacking of which you speak.
Z, these last few days I just noticed some comments on rukh9321's blog. Nothing to bad but i just noticed it because it Always happens when someone with another religion post some of his beliefs. I for one would be happy if we get more muslims, hindus and such active on these blogs. I just think we are scaring them to often.

Saggi.. really i'm sure you are a nice woman, but you are just so confusing to me. I don't understand half of what you are saying. Maybe its your lack of understanding english.. maybe its my lack of understanding english.. I don't know. Either way i doesn't matter. Anything i say you understand in the wrong way. I never meant to attack you but the way i see it you attack me for expressing my opinion. So I really don't see any good comming out of discussing things with you. Jac.. I know what you mean. And these are offcourse very sensitive subjects to be talking about. I would really like for one day to be able to make a clear debate about differents relegions without everyone getting so defensive from the start. Most religions really have allot in common. But with propaganda it is Always focussing on the differences.
Sensitive as in none of it can be questioned because that would be unfaithful?
Modern concepts of humane behaviour are out of sync with a lot of the teachings of organised and ancient religions. For them to become more humane would involve rejecting at least some of the supposed word of 'god'.
That's why they're ideal for war propaganda and not ideal for discussion, unless perhaps you're debating with academics, rather than believers.
I recommend the novel Whit by Iain Banks. Its very funny, but also very, very clever.
But just believing in your relegion (without proof) should never be used to proof other relegions to be wrong or false.
And anyone claiming the proof can be found in the bible, koran or other books are mistaken because all of those are written much later then the actual events (if they actually happened).
I ask you to tell your neighboor a story about a local person. Let them tell that stories to about 20 others. Then listen to the latest version of your story. You will be Lucky to recognise anything from your Original in it.
That would only be 20 people.. how many have been transferring the bible stories? .. 100...1000 maybe more?? How could they still tell the Original story?? And then its written down.
So theirfor it isn't proof.
