Snowing

It's snowing until now. And it's 21:05 of Sunday. Tomorrow got to work again. Halfway on my way to work, I'd get to pass by that man again. He going to the train station and me, from the station to my work. I thought at first that he's a Jman, an office worker elegantly dress for work. But apparently, he's not.How come I know without even talking to him despite of his chinky eyes and yellow skin? It's his insistence on walking on my left side of the lane. Jpeople don't follow the keep to the right rule. For them it's keep to the left. Do I have to stomp my feet and shout "You're getting in my way. Go to your side of the lane, i...t." Of course not. Japan is a man's country. And me an old foreigner woman who ought to be wiser, always go to my right side of the lane just like a lamb but with gritting teeth. laugh

Hey Miss tatami wave Sounds like you may need to develope the skills of a basketball player. Quick turns to the left and quick turns to the right to avoid those jpeople. wine
@Waf, they aren't silly rules. Here, even the cars are on the left lane. Even people riding the bicycle are on the left lane. In going up and down a stairs, even escalators that is followed. That's why when I came here in 1990, I was a lost cat and sometimes went against the flow of people esp in train stations. Thank God, I survived it unhurt.
@Parti, at the very first time exactly the same word kept dangling on my tongue, though.laugh
@Welela, actually, I woke up at around 4:20am, cooked, ate, prepared my obento, bathed, dressed and off I went. But after walking for 10 mins going to the train station, I turned around and get back home. The snow hasn't stopped yet and the factory has no heating system and had to walk slowlier and thus it would take time. I'll go easy today. I need the money but then my welfare first. Thanks for wishing me well. Hope all is well for you too.

@Cuddling, and quick eyes too. Imagine going to the right side and glancing your behind if there's biker, while looking forward for another biker coming your way. Some do stop and take it slowly but there are bike riding people or workers who race for time or for the green light at the crossroad and they never give in. Thanks for sharing.bouquet
