Flowers
I dont know about all of you but I happen to love flowers, all colors and sizes, well I am a woman and a very curious one so it's been nights I've been reading some facts about flowers, like regardless culture or ages giving flowers to a woman was a well known gesture for any occasion....It is amazing to see the different meanings of this beautiful act (giving flowers) to a lady you are attracted or to someone you are simply grateful, so here a few of the meanings I found:
Number of flowers:
One: A solitary bloom is a long-standing symbol of love at first sight.
Thirteen: The message is "'forever friends." Thirteen flowers in a bouquet also indicates that the sender is a secret admirer, waiting to be discovered.
Twenty Four: A bouquet of two dozen flowers sends the message that the recipient is always on the sender's mind. Each bloom represents the idea that a loved one is thought of during every hour of every day, and the sender can't stop thinking about the recipient.
Fifty: Giving your lover 50 flowers says you feel the relationship has ripened well over the years, and the bond has never been regretted.
One Hundred: A bouquet of 100 flowers signifies a harmonious, happy union between two lovers until death. Sending someone 100 flowers also sends the message that the sender is totally devoted to the recipient. Adding just one more bloom, making it 101, asks the recipient to marry the sender.
Occasions to give flowers:
courtship, anniversary, birthday, get well, funeral, holidays or just because (this are the kind that brings the sincerest smile on a womans face :p)
Colors
red: love, desire, passion, strength, fire, heat.
pink: teasing interest, grace, gentility, and happiness, joy, youthfulness, and innocence.
orange: excitement, exuberance, and enthusiasm, passion for life, satisfaction, and an air of confidence.
yellow: friendship, joy, and lightheartedness, new beginnings.
Months of the year and flowers
January: Carnation; February: Violet; March: Daffodil; April: Daisy; May: Lily; June: Rose; July: Larkspur; August: Gladiolas; September: Aster; October: Calendula; November: Chrysanthemum; December: Narcissus.
So men, now knowing a bit about flowers start spreading the love us women LOVE them,
