Silly question time.

Why do people post a blog, then disable comments?

I'm seeing a lot of them in the two weeks I've been here, and wonder why people bother in the first place.
If it's a blog that's with the intention of trolling people, then fair enough. But then people may start blogs countering them, thus making the blog scene messier than it should be.

this subject has been brought up,you've missed some answers.
it is an option to:edit and delete the blog and/or comments.

The rules seem to something of a grey area that are ignored. laugh

Editing blogs can be done while the blog is open, yes? There's no need to block comments at all then, as they can be removed as they're posted.

Some people asked me why I am "faceless" ? I said because it's allowed and I feel no need to do so.. Similar to blocking comments on blogs, maybe the OP just want to share her/his thoughts and doesn't need any comments.. just maybe! Most important thing is that blocking comments is not breaking blog rules, yes?

Mousemate I would venture to guess that they already know what kind of comments their blog will bring so they have decided to block them where they can have the last word laugh
