you know Migsy Over time, brushing too hard or using a hard-bristled toothbrush can wear down enamel and cause the dentin to be exposed. It can also cause recession of the gums

I had a massive tooth problem, with jam, bubblegum, drinks with sugar, savory foods with salt...I had various x rays and was recommended to use Sensodyne..... I even had a coating of some barrier thing put on my teeth and dried with some light at the dentist....nothing helped....
2 years later, I got neuralgia, a very painful thing which causes sensitivity to one side of your face, even wind on your face is painful. I was banging my head on the wall at one point and trying to pull out 1 tooth where it hurt the worst...
It was Sunday and everywhere shut, my partner at the time phoned for an emergency dentist, and 1 was opened up for me... I got there and had an x ray again....there on the screen was a small abscess under that painful tooth.
So don't believe the x rays, I had so many over the 2 years I can't count them..... if it keeps hurting, keep going, keep requesting x rays... it may be the same thing for you..
Hope you get it sorted
