High Salary
Low quality. Does it make sense? Responsible, high paid positions filled with no quality people. In feudal times this was the rule and common. For a long time u could buy good positions in the civil service or army. But who crawls up the career ladder and gets good jobs from whom?In parliament sits a bunch of voted fors or zeros. Civil servants crawl up with the years usually. Academic titles may be stolen or originate from plagiates. Access to scientific research or means of all sorts of production just blocked by people sitting there.

Interesting. How would you define 'high' quality? Eg a country's leader that has been born with leadership qualities and has no academic qualifications vs. a guy with the same amount of degrees as a thermometer that only has his own interests at heart. Its a mess
Quality should not lead to a mess. In no branch or subject.
E.g. the fishermen in the EU r throwing everything back dead which they may not catch or which can't be sold in the markets.
A real fisherman "The Old Man and the Sea" tries to catch without destroying the whole thing.
It s in God s hands and it is better to put thy trust on God.
