So, as Australia is a million miles from anywhere lol, and the fact that it's not possible to fly direct from here to Casablanca, my plan is to have a stopover in Singapore.

Been to the airport a few times, nice, but haven't made it into the city

Then, thinking Zanzibar en route ..

Hello Serene , I have been to Morocco , I t is really a nice country but as some people advised you be careful about your money , and do not try to visit the Moroccan desert area ( Sahara ) cause it is not safe . Wish you good luck and we wait for the feedback.

I have an advice regarding airways , try to use Etihad airways and step over AbuDhabi , they have amazing lounge or try to use Emirates Airways and step over Dubai , I am a regular traveler with these both airlines and I can say they are great .

Never been there, but from the people I have know here, they are very nice.
You probably have done you research, I hope you will enjoy your trip.
There is no Australian Embassy or Consulate in Morocco.

My plan is to incorporate Morocco into a trip encompassing possibly Spain and Portugal.

Will be saving madly and waiting until I have sufficient $$ to do it well - stopovers on the way there and back..

It's a long way from this island!
