Words of wisdom - Bajan pearls of wisdom
This is my first blog and i just wanted to share a few words of wisdom from my country written in the local dialect.1. One -smart dead at two-smart door -When you try to outsmart someone just remember there is always someone smarter than you!
2. Trouble doan (does'nt) set up like rain- you never know when something bad will happen until it does!
3. Every bush (tree) is a man - you should be careful when speaking someone might be eavesdropping!
4. Respect due to a dog- everyone deserves respect regardless of their gender, race,religion or social class.
5. Wha' (what ) got blood got feelings- it is easy to hurt a person's feelings.
6. Water does run but blood does clot - family should look after each other.
Our ancestors were wise we should listen and remember.
