8 more weeks until i reach heaven on earth

We've been waiting a long time already.. but D-day is in sight for me and my beloved lady. 8 weeks from now we will be able to reach out and touch eachother for the very first time.
I'm starting to get a bit nerveous... so many things left to do... so much to think about.
What do i take with me?? what clothes??? how many?? what else do i need??
Gifts, i need to buy some gifts... what do i get?? what would please my lady???
Think i've got an idea what i could get her... (suggestions Always welcome by mail)
Gotta make sure all my paperwork is done so my payments home don't get behind..
Gotta make sure my creditcards are activated for her area of the world... same thing for my Phone.

BTW anyone know how i could take belgian chocolate with me?... I fear it will melt because it will be pretty hot there.
I will need to change planes at an airport.. I'll be waiting there for about 5 hours in 30 degrees celcius and then from the next airport to my hotel will take another hour or so in those temperatures... Doesn't seem like good conditions to transport chocolates.

Aisha, I don't look at it as wasting money, besides its promotion for one of my countries specialities.

catfoot... I also figured out i'll never get everything organized the way i want it too... Not sure if its because its only 8 weeks left or because i Always think i'll have more time tomorrow.

Checkers, how are you and the lady? I guess i'm not as handy as you are.. so i'll stick to buying something laugh

HalvO, Uhmm.. packing stuff i won't need.. sounds like me alright.
Good advise on putting some of those in my carry-on. Gonna remember that one.
Hmm no Phone??? I will keep it shut down most of the time but i'm sure i'll need it, even if it was just to call a cab once in a while.
I can recharge my camera so that shouldn't be a problem.

For the other advise, I have everything we mailed and phonemessages still saved because i know how important that will be later on. I also mentioned her name on the visa application so it will be on record with the embassy as well.
Don't think i need specific travel Insurance because here in Belgium we got other insurances that should also cover that but i will check the paperwork on that one.
once i'm there i will be totally relaxed. I'm really looking forward to being there away from all my daily stress.

welela, thanks hun. hug

ummka, thanks to you aswell.

nozeal... uhmmm he was?? Me and Zman go way back and we just make fun, no harm intended.
Teddy, "Zman, Thanks for making me feel more confident", I did confused must have been a mistake laugh rolling on the floor laughing laugh wave

Nozeal, if I wasn't rotten to him he'd think I was ill doh laugh
Zman, when will you admit you actually like me??? dunno
Teddy, of course I like you cheering you did put the cheque in the post didn't you dunno laugh rolling on the floor laughing laugh
Teddy, you'll have everything you'll need once you get to Vietnam wine
The most important thing to take with you when you go to meet a women for the first time in a different country is a .....

PLAN B

Just in case things dont work out the way you expect them to... trust me I know!!

Luck to you anyway
LonelyBare, I'm sure i'll reach everything i need when i get to my destination.

Solamente, Plan B??? Don't need one. I'm confident of my girl. But If for some reason their would be a problem i'm sure i'll find something to keep myself busy. I'm used to being stuck in strange places.
