the memories of this man shall forever be in my he

There was an old man who used to walk around town in ragged clothes. He was a very kind and gentle man. He would walk and talk to people just about anywhere. He seemed to enjoy talking to homeless people as well.

He was seen mostly hanging out around the downtown areas. going in and out of places saying his hellos. I thought he was homeless too until I met someone who actually knew him. To my surprise not only was he not homeless but he was quite a wealthy man.

He felt more comfortable with down to Earth people and he always enjoyed a good conversation. I couldn't help but wonder if he missed the old days. I was touched to see someone like him.

He is no longer with us but the memories of this man shall forever be in my heart.

So nice to hear about this man. It is rare these days to come across such people. At one point in my life, I tried to talk to people, but knocking on doors. Hmm, was not a good idea. But am. always open to talk to people. sometimes just listening to someone that has to say something itself is a deed or blessing!.
Though I'm not wealthy and not that too much old, I find it amusing to talking to people who aren't known to me. But being here in Japan, I'm learning not to. Most put a different color to it other than mere discussion. I just realize that pure emotions come from babies and house pets. And I like your username very much.bouquet
I always liked talking to old people. Now, I'm old and I hope people like talking to me.

This might sound kind of strange but maybe he was an angel sent from above in human formangel angel to help those who were hurting and in need!!dunno dunno
They don't make them like that anymore . It's more people like you and him we need .
Thank you for the nice comments and compliments.
I am just an average female with an average life, I am not as tolerant as that man was. The man in the story above passed away many years ago. I hold onto this memory because people are changing and it doesn't seem for the better. People are putting too much value on the material things and not enough on humanity. People like this man in this story used to be abundant. These days they do not cross my path often. When they do I can feel them.
