I'm stunned
Yesterday I got an email from a fairly large online gaming company's Community Director. ( I play 1 of their games )Since I do occasionally check the discussion forums for the game, and participate, frequently helping other players with answers to their questions, [ weird, some of them been playing the game far longer than me and I can answer their questions ;) ] He actually came after me to become a Moderator for the game's board.
Now I'm the Game board Admin and moderator, the only one, for a game that has 5 servers and 250,000+ players.
ok, only about 5000 active players but still.

Nice to have them come for you this way!!
for a volunteer type thing it is extremely unusual to go "headhunting" though.
But then, I have some skills that might actually land me an employment offer from them in time also, so I'm happy. :)
lol
since I have never spent any money on their site that wouldn't get me much.
gaming site, not gambling site. :p
paying in game credits, so my volunteer work gets me benefit as if I spent cash. lol
a perc for volunteering rather than actual pay.
@ Hans
no worries, gaming could have been a gambling site, I didn't specify the type of games originally. :)
