Working Filipinas in Middle East can be a living hell,What a sad position to be in,your a young women, without mallice, large in heart, family orientated, christian woman, yet you have been given no choice but to work abroad to give your exstended family support, life, nearly every thing you earn is sent home, in countrys where, you receive a low salary for long hours, the nationals show you know respect,in fact they think in there eyes your less than dog poop, some are beaten, raped and even murdered,by people that dont have any idea what equality, manners or human rights means, may GOD help these women to return to there homeland safely, one day

Question? Are there no protection of these people anywhere? Does UN have any knowledge whatsoever on this situation?
Thanks

It can happen anywhere but regardless a sad situation born out of need and taken advantage of because of this...it is a sad situation...
Yes I do agree with you Ian, the black stuff. The thing is lately it was discovered that my country has so much in reserve and we don't truly need to use them from the Middle East, which was nothing before the OPEC came into existence. The truth of the matter is the investors and the holders of some of these investments are no less than the 10 percents rich republicans, like the prominent familiss from my country. I read it in one of the Fortune magazine in a very little caption, that they, the 13 original members of the Federal Reserve are amongst the big ones.
Now if the intentions is to deplete their national resources and then they wouldn't have that kind of power and control anymore. But I am not sure, if it will ever get depleted. Whoever has most of that Ian, holds the key for the economic power of the world..
If you look at the latest statistics (wikipedia) US alone is the only qualifying super power of the world today, with Europe, India, China and Russia following..
Anyways, you are right...the flow of money is coming from where the black stuff is...
Thanks

I am not only concerned about those Filipinas, but all the others in the world who are the victims without any form of justice meted for them.
Can anyone make a movement against such inhumanities? Where is Mother Teresa when we need her?
Thanks

regards the oil...the amount of revenue this generates for other countries in equipment and other products sold here is enormous...so the ploy is use all the oil in saudi...they spend it on cars..goods...machinery which boost other economies..then when it runs out we all use our own..just like the Philipines...America uk..Fracking is another but sensitive subject..but oil will not run out in my life time or my sons...they are finding new wells everyday here in the eastern province...
So it looks so dangerous and post a very high pollution effect?

So it shows to me, then, that there is no shortage of such a commodity,.So why on earth the price of per gallon is still so high?
Where as in the old days, fuel used to be 50 cents a gallon? I have a picture to prove this...I was eating in a very nice restaurant and my then husband, 1983, took a picture and there it was, 59, 69, 79 cents a gallon. Can you believe that?
