I am agreat believer in an eye 4 an eye we need 2 b allowed 2 bear arms in th uk as they do in the usa and have a bill of rights the uk is a dumping ground always will b until the gov sort out a bill of rightsnlike the usa

Criminal elements have guns in every country - let it be Ireland or Germany or where ever.

None of the people I know in Ireland or Germany advocate the right to bear arms or have a gun under their bed for "self-defence".

not going against what you guys are saying,,,but the usa was founded on these principals,,,its part of our heritage here,its part of the bill of rights,,and i,,who fought in vietnam(was drafted)fought in one form or another for this right amongst others,,,and if you could take the guns away,,im sure they will find other ways to kill,,and theres plenty of those,,,

K: There are a lot of illegal guns on the market in Germany because when a permit holder dies, the guns are inherited to the heir even though the heir must not have a permit. Those heirs often sell them under the table and that's how they find their way to those people who shouldn't have them. How do I know this? because my mother inherited a gun from my father and she sold it to a taxi driver who ran off and never paid her, let alone produced a permit. I tried to recover the gun claiming it was theft, otherwise I would have had no legal recourse to even lodge a complaint with the police. The system in Germany isn't as neat and clean as many people believe.
