ready to b teased....just got back from doing some basic shopping and stopped in at a consignment store to pick up some vhs tapes....yes...u read that right...vhs tapes....woo a hoo 15 for a buck!!danceline danceline

yeah...i am old fashioned when i first went back to college...literally a few yrs back....i literally snuck a portable typewriter in cause i did not have computer skills....all the profs could tell by the type on my paper....for me it worked perfect get up at 4 or 5 in the a.m. and knock out a one page wonder....for class that a.m. that is what the prof called it...at times it is most difficult to b very concise!!

yeah wallops i luv to do this being soooo into vintage....and old fashioned and all that so....cannot wait to get to it....all of that viewing...only one is a concert...another for a grandchild...otherwise it is all a mine...woo a hoo....popcorn

The joke is media on VCR keeps or lasts much longer than the same media stored on CD or DVD. This is because the reflective backing on CD/DVD is INTENTIONALLY designed to be of much shorter shelf life and to literally rot away after a decade or two. Conversely magnetic media on tapes, properly stored on edge can in theory last for a century. Maybe longer, time will tell.

yeah ken....who knows i do have some from yrs and yrs ago...and u r correct dvds and cds do not last long at all...i personally like vhs..much easier to control...yay
