MISSING PARENTS

Have you grown up with the absence of a parent or parents. Are you angry or sad. How has it affected you?

I seemed to spend my whole adolescence chasing my dad.

Are there any people out there who are parents trying to find a son or daughter? motorcycle boxing sad flower moping help

One of my friend went through what you say. She was mad sad at the same time when the topic come about parents. She grew up with her grand parents biological father unknown , mother married to a man and got three daughters and my friend was not a part of the family. She was looking for her father since oh boy I think 8 years. teddybear teddybear sad flower
Being a child from a second marriage my parents pushed me off to boarding school from the age of eight, then at eighteen pushed me off to work in a foreign country.

When thirty years had passed they wondered why I wasnt family orientated.

Not angry or sad, that was just how life turned out to be.

It's alright! He was there as a father to me. And I am doing alright about that.

Ps; Are you wanting to find someone, in your family? hug
Having parents around is ok..as long as they are loving..
@Angel
No. My parents are both dead but I have a friend who is about to meet his mother who left when he was 12yrs old. He is a very mixed up individual so I hope it goes well for him. His father died from alcoholism when my friend was 26 and still living at home.
