'Only one foot in the grave' sitcom

Does any one remember this British Situation Comedy. I quoted it to one of our CS friends and he doesn't seem to understand that this was a funny show on British TV some years ago.

Please back me up here!

Just a tiny clip but had the catchphrase. Most of them were full episodes. You'll have to delete my first attempt, haha

RCS It took me a bit of searching but here is the episode you spoke about where the couple come home and find a lamp post in the bedroom. Enjoy.

There have been great ones since then like 'Only Fools and Horses' but sadly now I avoid the TV. It's like watching paint dry!

RCS I don't watch tv all that much anymore like I used to.
Although somewhat dated now, i thought it a pretty good comedy at the time using some well known and popular actors, and certainly better than any of the American sit-coms around. But wasn't the show called ... "One Foot In The Grave" ?
Hope you enjoy this episode

Singleguy

yes, now I can see that's what it's called.
Socrate

Thanks for that one. He puts your teeth on edge don't you think!

RCS.
The ones that! 1to1to1, is talking about. Is the ones that comes on my TV mostly everyday. At least! In my area. We also! Have the: Downtown Abbey!...wine
Hi Angel

Do you get 'Porridge'? with Ronnie Barker?
Had to laugh when my buddy in the US said Downton Abbey is shown in the US with subtitles laugh

Two countries divided by a single language.
Viv

Maybe I'd understand it more with subtitles. I find it a pointless watch. It takes a lot to grasp my attention these days!

I lived the Downtown Abbey life when my mum was cook in Stately homes and they have as much turmoil as the rest of us but it may as well be East Enders which I also avoid.
