These are the kind of blogs I like nam, enjoyed reading this one. I always think it is funny how cows all face the same way. I have been to Maumee river when I was there in June. I think it is luck. I feel lucky to be born in England, I never had to go hungry. When I see those haunted little faces on TV dying of hunger, it breaks my heart, there are so many rich nations, I wonder WHY! is there so much hunger.? One thing I never do is waste food.

Most bars in America are not like Uk, men look at a woman like they never saw one before. I never go out drinking alone anyhow, but if I needed to go into a pub, I would walk in with my head held high.

Zman, I did hear that story from my other Daughter who visited there, she said many people wore black all the time. It sounded quaint to me, I think I will like going back in time, maybe a more relaxing way of life.

Kiv, my daughter is married to an American pilot, he now fly's for Delta, before he flew for Delta he was a helicopter pilot for the US Navy, they were stationed near Cadiz, not sure that is how it is spelt, they were there for 3yrm one of my grand children went to a Spanish school, he was the only English speaking child in the class, bless him, he always said Hola Nana, he is now a pilot in the American navy, he refuels jets.

What I came here to say before I gave you my life story Is, I never got to go to Spain when she lived there.

Kiv, I also met a guy 3yr ago who had a small farm in Yorkshire, I was a farm girl for about a week, feeding cows and sheep, but once again I had to end that relationship because of my daughter. Anyway I moved on and then met a local man through my daughter and this mans daughter being friends, they did a little match making. We were together for 3 yr untill last monday when I ended that relationship, I won't bore you with the details, and I never bad mouth my exes.

On Thursday I recieved CS mail, right out of the blue from this farmer guy, he saw my pic on CS, and said, I thought I recognised that cheeky face, anyway long story short, he now lives in Portugal, he's still got a place in England too, he just invited me to go to Portugal in September, I'm still thinking about it.

Yes you can Kiv, I did, though I'm not with him now, due to me not wanting to leave my family, we are still friends, though my heart aches with love for him still, that was 5 yr ago. My daughter was going through a rough time at that time in my life, I could not leave her. I'm in a much better place now.

If I had to let my past life have an effect on my life today, I would join a Convent Look forward, not back.

I think many woman are their own worst enemy, coming on too strong, too early.

With guys having to try so hard sometimes to meet a woman, pick one up or get a date, you’d think a woman coming on to a guy would be a welcome thing. No no no, that is not good, unless he isa shy passive sort of guy, some men need a good push.

Many men like to lead and dislike their male prerogative of ‘being in charge’ taken away from them. The thrill of the chase is still alive since the beginning of time, a woman coming on too strong takes away his masculinity.

There are also some women who are desperate to get into a serious relationship and settle down, when men know this they are off.

A woman should take things slowly, give a man time to really fall in love with her, because once he is in love, she's got him, because men are much more romantic than woman.
I can't stand men who come on too strong to me, I like them to keep me guessing, especially in the very early days of the relationship. It is more exciting.

By the way M, I think itchy is the funniest person on these blogs, she is very witty, and caring, straight to the point, never sneaky. So there
