I did meet this one guy who had a small holding in Yorkshire, I went to visit him, it was fun, he was a great cook too I was like a proper farm girl with my wellies on in the field feeding the sheep. Anyway, long story short, we split up. Only the other day out of the blue he spotted my picture on CS and wrote to me, he said we were very comaptable, but I would not move in with him and leave my family, he's sold up now and lives in Portugal, I told him my answer is still no.

Kiv, I was just like you at first, I have only been here a few month, I just went right in at the deep end, there are a lot of lovely people here, you will be fine. I guess it can be like the first day at a new school.

I just googled ... WOW! those trucks are huge. I don't know if you ever read the book by Jack Kerouac ... "On the road" It is a hoot, what those guy's got up to, even stealing Gas.

Sorry nam, I mislead you. My Nephew is in England driving for Duncan Hill. Wish I had known you were passing through Ohio, maybe we could have met up for lunch. You could google it when you have time.

Big brother is in our lives now, I'm sure they are working on a way to get inside our heads.

nam, my Nephew is a trucker, he drives for "Duncan Hill" When I was in Ohio in June, my Nephew asked me to take some pics of those huge American trucks.

Like you Ian I dislike the term ... "Soul Mate" I'm on the same page as you regarding love, I have dated lots of men since I dumped my ex 12 yr ago, some very nice men, but I never had that heart pounding dry mouth trembling feeling I had when I was 17 when I met my husband, we married young and were together 27yr, we were joined at the hip. I guess I will never be truly in love again. But at my age, maybe it's better I don't have those feelings again, not with my old ticker. I can still dance though
