Im the new roomate...

So I've moved to a new city and someone has offere me a room in their flat. So my flatmate / landlord is a woman. Besides my sisters my last and only roommate I had was in first year of university. She has the resting bi#*h face or poker face and has told me candidly that she's mean. And doesn't always wanna talk. I get it, personal space. But how do I navigate around that. I'm an introverted extrovert. So I'm shy but I like to get in conversation, I need the enticement here n there. We won't be BFFs. But I'm not sure how to survive this month. Suggestions please, on how to be the perfect flatmate?

Well,mine is to make sure your room has a lock,call friends and make sure they know your new address.Bring home at least one person who knows that you're both just stopping in for a jacket,whatever
This way she is not isolating you or running your life.
Find out if she has real property Records or is actually renting,and has you paying an unequal part or the entire cost.
Do not have your mail sent there or keep valuable possessions there.
The main reason is those who rent short term expect more for their turn over inconvenience, or are counting on you to be miserable,leave and not request an adjustment,deposit back,etc.
It may be very profitable to have a poker face dunno

I say try to be introverted as much as possible until you get another space.
The worst feeling one can have is from being ignored.

Most times someone cannot contain the same medicine that they prescribe.
I hope it all work out for you in the new city.
