To Move

So I live in Florida-a place a lot of people would consider paradise. The coldest it gets here is around the 60s during the day and mid to high 30s at night and only for about a month long time period. The weather is predictable for the most part. You know in Spring it will be dry in summer it will rain every afternoon in fall it will be dry and winter will give us nice weather to sit outside or go camping. I live 5 minutes from the beach and river. I hate it here. I have lived here my whole life-while I have lived a few months here and a few months there I hate Florida. When I say it's hot it's hot. It can be 85*F out and it will really feel like 105*F out because of the humidity which by the way makes it worse. The air is so heavy you can cut it with a knife. Some days I don't even go outside because when I do the heat takes my breath away-literally. The rain storms we have can very well turn dangerous and produce tornado's-although not like the mid-west I'll give it that. Hurricanes I don't worry about much because you have what a month to prepare for it please. I stayed through the '04 hurricanes I won't leave if another one were to hit. Another reason Florida-my part of Florida the Space Coast particularly Brevard County stinks is because it is a retirement community. Everything here closes at midnight and 2am on the weekends. There are old people everywhere-driving shopping walking church-don't get me wrong I have nothing against old people at all but I am 28 and would like to go to a freakin club for crying out loud. I don't want to drive to Orlando because that is a long drunk drive home and hotels cost too much there. I refuse to go to Miami or Tampa. There is no culture in this town except what a little place called "Cocoa Beach" please that's not culture that is a tourist trap. Ron Jons is a joke to locals and any self respecting surfer doesn't go there. Kelly Slater is a sell-out biatch and a d**k. People around here my age group 20-30 are getting out of here fast just to have something to do. No wonder I want to move so bad. I just want out of here and a lot of people don't understand why that even with all that I listed above someone would want out. This town is a black hole and once someone leaves another must take their place. I will move as soon as school is over with that's for sure-bring on the cold winters-snow yes I love snow-changing seasons because really we have 2 seasons here summer and winter and winter is about a month. I was born for cold weather never liked the sun. Well had to get it off my chest
