New Russian mobilization in September?

Rumors are beginning to spread (fueled by some new laws in Russia coupled with some announcements from Moscow) of a new mass mobilization of Russian men to occur in September. The new draft will include men up to age 65 and could possibly impact as many as one million Russian men..
We can view it as proof of Russia's desperation and inability of their army to hold the lines in Ukraine with their present strength. It is not clear how such a sweeping round up of males in Russia will effect production in Russia's factories.
The new changes and announcements indicate that the call up orders may arrive by paper OR by electronic media OR both. Announcements by Moscow indicate that when a name is chosen for activation Border Police will be among the first notified and then other legal agencies involved. When that is done then the notifications will be sent out. I
n short if you are Russian you may already have been secretly drafted, but won't know of it until you show up at a border crossing trying to leave the country, or get pulled over for a traffic stop, or go to a bank to get a loan, etc. At that time you will be told you have been called up and turned over to the military. Or maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who first learns of it by email, which is better than a couple of guys in uniform knocking at your door to give you a piece of paper to read as they drag you away.
It is such fun being Russian these days.

Walt Nauta's legal issues...

40-year-old military veteran, Waltine “Walt” Nauta, was Donald J. Trump's valet at the white house and became his executive assistant/personal valet after Trump left the presidency.

Once Trump launched his 2024 presidential bid, his campaign operation also began paying Nauta's salary estimated at $135,000 per year.

He appeared in court last month with Trump in the connection of the classified documents case. Unable to find a lawyer registered in Florida, his arraignment was delayed a month. Speculation is Trump (indirectly) is paying his legal fees.

Although being charged himself, he is a key witness in the case against Trump. The Department of Justice (DOJ) alleges that Nauta took boxes of materials from the white house that went to Mar-a-Lago. During the time the government tried to recover the boxes of classified documents, it's stated Nauta had moved boxes several times.
How did they know?
They were able to obtain security video from Mar-a-Lago including some witnessed by Trump's lawyer when the boxes were moved. What's worse, is he lied to Federal investigators who questioned him about the documents he claimed to know nothing about. They have him on video.

Reports are he stands a good chance of prison time if convicted. Reports also say he was offered a plea deal that he declined. Loyalty to Trump is costly.
Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen was interviewed by saying either way, Nauta is looking at serious legal issues and should reconsider 'Flipping on Trump' in exchange for a lesser sentence.

The prediction is Trump will postpone his court date and this may drag out past the election. Walt, could see his court date before the end of the year.
The question then... if Nauta does time for his connection with Trump... what happens to Trump?

Can you say Beyond-say...

For years, I've avoided entertainment awards shows for various reasons. Sometimes it's the politics in the business, sometimes a case of who you blow or who you know and not the actual talent you have. Always, and I mean always, there are disappointments and hurt feelings, especially from the losers.

What was it... less than 2 weeks ago, there was another show and while accepting an award for Dr. Dre, Jay-Z (Beyoncé's husband) decides to use his time in the spotlight to slam the Grammy's because she didn't receive an award for album of the year.

In her career, Beyoncé has raked up 32 Grammy's and holds the record. The two of them combined have 56 wins.

I read some reader reviews and that his action didn't sit well with her fans. Simply put... Beyoncé's last album wasn't considered good enough for an award.

Jay-Z, that's embarrassing... stop your crying!

Man restrained after jumping on police car

A man with possible mental health issues was restrained by police after jumping onto the bonnet and roof of a patrol car yesterday.

The incident happened on North Shore Road in the Crawl Hill area of Hamilton Parish.

According to a police spokesman, officers in the patrol car saw the man standing in the middle of the road. As they approached, he leapt onto the bonnet of the vehicle before striding onto its roof, while shouting aggressively. He then jumped down onto the road from the rear of the car.

The incident, which was caught on video and circulated on social media, lasted just a few seconds.

The spokesman said: “Other officers attended the scene and assisted in bringing the male under control, before transporting him to the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute in a second police car.

There were no reports of anyone being injured during the incident, although the police car was dented.

I've heard nothing about St. Patrick's Day...

I studied Uilleann (Irish) pipes in a former life and pipers often talked about their 'big gig' was to play in a pub on St. Patrick's Day. Some made the most money on that event, more than any other performance.
Good music, great craic... lots of brew.

I quick scanned the forums and blogs, but not to see any mention of this holiday today.

Tradition for those living in Chicago is to witness them adding dye into the river!

Absolute presidential immunity...

The subject of whether or not if Trump has absolute presidential immunity went to the Supreme Court. They delayed it going on their busy schedule until it got to a critical point of them making a decision. When they got around to discussing the topic, they rendered a decision without making a decision... It's called a delay.
Favoring Trump, the king of delay tactics, gets a delay. Their inability to show some cojónes gave him what he needs. So there is a chance it will be (conveniently) scheduled after the election. He gets what he wants and their hands aren't dirty.

One reader comment on the subject of immunity, made an important observation:
The Supreme Court has lost their integrity.

A dead message from under the rubble of bombing

The life of this people if you call it life will become a life of misery and annihilation for human beings who sell other human beings That's it A huge forest full of monsters I was an innocent person Reclamation and cultivation of abandoned lands My children's food was a loaf of bread I was insulted in the middle of the queue It is a difficult life and every day I die under bombing. Death surrounds me when I leave

You are destroying me and I am your honor because one day what is on your body is the cotton and flax grown by the hands of my family On the day of my burial they did not find a dress to cover my body so I went out and left you to live in the upper rooms I am the one who built it I furnished it beautifully and I am the one who passed through it O Lord I am going to You and avenge me from all who wronged me and from all accomplices in the crime
