My blessing, today my daughter was flown in rom Frisco and will drive with me back to the West Coast

Some people count their blessings based on material wealth. I guess there is nothing wrong with that really.

For me, I count my blessings with my health (very active at 67, still do 100 push up a day), but most especially the love of my children, and my friends.

I have decided to go back and live permanently in California as I am now fully retired.

I will be very close to all my children and grandchildren and live very modestly and simply. Of course, I still hope to travel the world as I am accustomed to and just smell the roses and enjoy nature which I love very much.

My youngest daughter offered to drive with me and I am more than thrilled with this adventure.

We are leaving today, it takes at least two days before we get back home. I will not be able to baby sit this blog but thanks all for your read and or comment if any.heart wings

Lending A Hand

Last week, while mending the fence, my neighbour’s wife came over to chat with me. While talking, her seven year old son joined us, asking if he could help me. The woman was astonished. I suppose with five kids in the house she could do with all the help from the children she could get.

“Why don’t you ever ask me that?” she asked him reproachfully.

The boy looked at his mother and asked;”Mommy, can I help the uncle?”

I suppose that boys, even at that age, don’t want to do “a woman’s work”.

Northbay Area a Raging Inferno

I've lived here for 40 years. All my children born and lived here except one who is in the southern part of the State, I've not seen as devastating fire like this.

I thought the earthquake in 1905 was the worst but I wasn't here to witness that but this is one disaster I will never forget.

I am out of the state at the moment and my children are safe.

My middle girl lives up by Annadel heights and were evacuated yesterday.

My prayers for all those victims specially the families of the fatalities sad flower

Please join me in praying for them.

I AM JUSTIFYING MYSELF...

Why I am supporting my president on death penalty to the drug dealer....?

Here is my view for those who is busy in criticizing my decision :

1. Indonesia is a rich country naturally. With 300 million population, it is good market for the drug dealer better than China and India even China or India has bigger population number.

2. Geographically, since Indonesia has more than 130.000 Islands, it is easier for the drug dealer to enter the country from many directions to smuggle the drug as Indonesia doesn’t have enough army and police to cover the entire country. While India and China are having 1 big main island and small island here and there.

3. We learn from the case of illegal fishing problem (Illegal fishermen from foreign countries who fishing illegally (steal our fist) in Indonesia sea territory) caused Indonesia lost USD 25 Billion every year. We have policy to bombing every single illegal ship that enter our ocean territory illegally and put the fishermen (most of them don’t even know that their ship is illegal) in jail. The purpose of it is to give the deterrent effect to other and to make them think 100x before they do stealing fishes in our ocean.

4. My personal experience when a smuggler hit the head of Amorthep using a big axe with cold blood (we were just 19 years old) and she could lost her life if we were late to find her. Thanks that the police arrested him. We met in the court and he did and beg mercy from the judge with poor face for not having long period of penalty and he got 3 years in jail. 3 years later he again did worse criminal and even killed the victim. The court sent him to death penalty as he killed planned with cold blood and cruel…

So, sad story about the dealer doesn't work for me. Every criminal will show their poor face to the world, especially the drug dealer. They spread the sympathy for not having death penalty but is there ANYBODY can guarantee that they would STOP the business? Can the government of their country of origin could guarantee that his citizens would never come back to sell drug in Indonesia? What kind of punishment they would give to the drug dealer if Indonesia agree to have extradition policy with them?

5. Putting them in jail (alive) is not stopping them in doing drug business EVEN from inside the jail. Silvester Obiekwe (foreigner), Fredy are 2 of those king of drug dealer who operate the drug distribution from inside the jail…. Not to mention how many people they kill in the operational of drug distribution. JAIL DOESN’T STOP THEM !!!

6. The fact that only with 5 gr of drug could kill one man, how many men would be killed when 1 dealer smuggling over 10 kgs and please have a look this article if you want to know how much drug they smuggle to Indonesia.

http://posmetroglobal.co.id/baca/inilah-usaha-sindikat-masukan-narkoba-ke-indonesia/

7. Death Penalty is necessary for Indonesia to give the deterrent effect to other foreigner as well as local drug dealers. As long as we keep this death penalty policy, we expect they erase Indonesia as their market.

8. Please see this picture and imagine if she is your daughter, sister, friend, good friend, niece, grand daughter, neighbor... will you say " please do not give death penalty to the people who has succeeded supplying drug to her...." ?

I hope my justification would make you understand why I am in my position with my president to keep the death penalty for drug dealer.

When/How Do You Introduce Your BF/GF To Your Kids?

Here's a very sensitive issue for me. I've been hiding my relationship from my ex-husband and my almost 11 years old son for a long time now. Few months ago, my son picked up my phone and read some messages exchanged between me and my BF. He took the whole thing really well and started teasing me about it, few days later, he grabbed my phone and started chatting to my BF. From that day on, they started talking , exchanged messages and photos. He likes to tease and joke with my BF and would often tell me to marry the guy.doh laugh Well, things are more complicated than it appears.sigh They have met already and often talked on the phone when my BF and I started dating years ago but for some reason, we had to keep the relationship secret after that.sigh

My son wants to see my BF, he likes him and that somehow makes me feel positive. Every few months my BF comes here but I never let them meet. My BF plans to spend a very nice Christmas with us, this time he is staying at my place...no more hotels. It would be a wonderful Christmas but I'm having second thoughts...I don't think it's a good idea for them to get too close.sigh it does give me a strange feeling that the relationship is getting serious...it scares the heck out of mehelp doh

How did you introduce you BF/GF to your children ?conversing moping Was it a happy event ? laugh

Marriage and Divorce: A Rigged Game for Men, But A

If you’re a man considering marriage, there are some statistics you should know before you go ring shopping.

Today, more than 50% of marriages in the U.S. end in divorce.

What many people don’t know is that women initiate approximately 70% of all divorces. Interesting, since men as a gender are the ones who are typically shamed for being commitment phobic and not willing to settle down.

An article on a marriage support website states that women primarily file for divorce because they feel “neglected.”

Author and researcher Deirdre Bair finds that women are generally the initiators of divorce worldwide, not just in the U.S.

In my opinion, the primary reason women initiate divorces in 70% of divorces cases is because most women stand to gain far more than they have to lose if they choose to divorce.

Even though women initiate approximately 70% of divorces, men are frequently ordered to pay their ex-wives legal costs. So, in addition to potentially losing their assets, their homes and their children, men are also expected to pay for the privilege of being emotionally and financially eviscerated by their ex-wives.

Not only do women initiate 70% of divorces, women are awarded primary custody in 82.6% of custody cases and this figure has remained largely unchanged since the 1994 U.S. Census.

Courts typically refuse to lower child support payments when a father’s income drops. The Bradley Amendment, which was passed in 1986, forbids any reduction in child support arrears, even if the father is disabled.

The amendment ensures that even if a man can prove he is the victim of paternity fraud, that he cannot be absolved from paying child support to a child that is not his biological offspring, which brings us to another disturbing statistic.

Approximately 30% of paternity tests submitted come back negative. That’s nearly one-third of challenged paternity cases proving the woman lied.

What about brave men who marry a second time? Men can have their new spouses’ income held against them and used to extort more child and spousal support to their ex-wives.

This is nothing more than a “backhanded way of tapping into a second spouse’s income” to pay for the ex who believes she shouldn’t have to work because she was once married to her ex once upon a time or wants to maintain that magical and totally unrealistic “marital standard of living.”

However, if the ex-wife remarries, her new spouse is under no legal obligation to financially support his stepchildren. The court’s rationale? Hey, they’re not his children and, therefore, not his responsibility. Yet, it is the new wife’s responsibility to give a portion of her salary to her husband’s ex-wife and children. Can someone please explain to the logic of this to me?

In many states, long after a divorce has been settled, ex-wives can come after their ex-husbands to shake down their retirement plans — even after they received a portion of the man’s retirement during the divorce settlement! This essentially allows some ex-wives to “double dip” into their exes’ retirement savings.

Here’s another statistic: Divorced and separated men are two and a half times more likely to commit suicide than married men. Divorce, however, doesn’t seem to lead more women to commit suicide. Separated and divorced male suicides outnumber their female counterparts by 4 to 1.

Marriage rates are on the decline in the U.S. and worldwide as many men are deciding to opt out of marriage due to the extremely unfair nature of divorce and custody “awards” and the extremely entitled attitudes of many women (MGTOW and the Herbivores) and I can’t say as I blame them.

Wasted relationship

This would be one of my rare personal topics in blog land. I wasn't going to share and let the world judge me and my situation but I thought I need it just to confirm whether my decision is right or wrong.

Here's the situation: the ex of whom I'm having a relationship with got hold of him through "kik", they talked and from the transcripts (of which I won't go into detail), they're very excited and she still calls him baby. (She left him for a millionaire with multiple businesses world wide, married him and living in the high nines). They have 30 years difference and from what I gather she misses my partner so much specially in bed.

Imagine my shock reading their conversations.

This went on for a week. He never mentioned to me about it. The worst part is he acted as though I don't exist, let alone in a relationship.

Note: I terminated our relationship and he's fighting so hard to save it. Explaining that that isn't cheating.

We're just over three years and would have been married but thank God, we're not. We are planning on buying a house together. Just couldn't make up our minds if in California or in Mid West

How do you feel, if it were you? We've been together as a couple talking about forever.

Thanks all for your reads and comments if any.

2nd Note: he'd been confirmed cheater and womanizer. However, with me, professing to have changed.

Last NOTE: I accidentally discovered the conversation. He's in the living room while I was in the bedroom where he charges his phone. It beeped and in his business, it's important for him to respond right away. My shock to realize it's his ex. I'm not spying nor snooping. Lol I think when I trust a person, I trust and not worried about what they do to hurt the relationship.

My Dad Is A Liar

I still cry watching this even though I've watched it like a million times..crying crying crying

I knew my biological dad only for 1 week. Yup, that's right, 1 week. He was not there when I was growing up. Met him for the first time when I was 15. Went and stayed with him and his then girlfriend, Aunt Winnie.

My dad and I had a bad fall-out and he sent me back to my grandparents' house after staying with him for just a week. Didn't see or hear from him again after that...

9 years ago, one afternoon, my mom called to inform that my dad had died of a heart attack, 2 years prior. He was only 52. I felt nothing..empty and couldn't bring myself to cry. I couldn't even bring myself to call him dad the time when I stayed with him.

Now, watching this commercial, I feel a slight pang of envy of the special bond that this little girl and her father has...sad flower sad flower sad flower
