I had a short stint, about 2 months, looking after disabled kids and teenagers when I was 17. It was a voluntary job about 30 mins drive from my home. Transport and food provided. The facility was run by a local church that got its funding mostly from Sweden.
Some of those kids were lucky, they had families to go back home at the end of the day. Some were not that lucky......
There was a 9 year-old boy who was brought to the center with bloodied ankles. Apparently, his family had no one to look after him at home and decided to shackle him to the post outside the car porch so that he wouldn't soil the inside of their house...
A teenage mom who had an intelligence of a 5 year-old kid who had been impregnated by strangers over and over again.....she had the sweetest disposition, always smiling at waving at me when she sees me every morning....
Sadly, when I left that place after 2 months, I got too caught up in my own problems to think of them..
When I watched this clip, I can't help but feel in awe of this man. Admiration and respect quickly followed suit. Love his final statement...
"There's always good in this world, more than the bad, always..."

Every now and then we're reminded of our humble fragility, like when we feel that falling down the abyss to nothingness is the only choice we have.
It's so empowering to know, there's One out there I put my faith on and truly makes me realize my insignificance. Saving me when I feel so hopeless, which doesn't happen very often.
And despite of all the evils in this world, it's still a BEATIFUL and meaningful life.
I'm so feeling grateful after reading Non's blog.
It makes me realize, our lives is how we make it.
Please feel free to unload your down moments and comments if interested.
Thanks for your read.
As in... me, myself and I
but it came up in our discussion/questioning over the weekend,
how would you feel towards you grandchild if the babies life lost you your daughters?
Honest replies only... if any
One crazy thing I like...people broadcasting from home. I get to see their kitchens, living rooms, etc. I want Fallon's wallpaper. Wonder what the rest looks like cause it seems to be a wild house for decor.
When I was a child, we made runs into town sometimes to ship dad's work by train. I picked it up from mom to be a peeping Tom as we drove down the streets. We would look for un-curtained windows to see what a living room or kitchen looked like.
There are lots of home magazines. But, I don't want to see some staged, perfect room done by some professional. I want to see how real people decorate. Rooms that the average person arranges.
So this is my positive, getting to read book titles in the background, see their kitchen counter is as cluttered as mine or their paneling or wallpaper. Real, not fake rooms. Genuine lived in homes where families live and gather and share.
Having ice coffee with jelly from McDo is my favorite drink in a hot day like today.... My friends came and we decided to use my car then we drove to Boko temple, a temple that built for female where in its gate there is a V-image- near to Prambanan temple here in my home town.
We went and sit in panoramic restaurant for having a finger bites snack. From its terrace, we could see the peak of prambanan temple appear from the cloud.... Amazing... While behind it, standing the mighty Merapi mountain saying hi to the sun.
Our meeting is special. Four women who has the same interest and talking here there about sex psychology...
And I just know that women can produce minimal of 8700words per day while men produce a maximum of 2700words per day !!!
So men.... Just in case you ever questioned why women love to talk, this could answer your question.....
Have a good day everyone.....
Incredibly beautiful here today - hard frost overnight rimming everything with white, blue skies, and the temperature climbed to the dizzying heights of 1 degree C.
I went shopping, stocked up, bought cards and a couple of gifts and was bombarded with cheesy carols throughout.
So - decided to push the boat out and actually do some decorating for the season. Let's see, now, where is everything?
I know I had everything in 3 packing cases. Basic, half-hearted, and the whole shebang. I can find the tree. And I can find the whole shebang box. Don't want the whole shebang, but I cannot find the other 2 boxes, which is a pain because one contains the tree decorations.
They might, oh dear, be in the attic. Anyone prepared to pop round and go up into the dark cold scary attic (I will hold the wobbly ladder) and get them for me?
Today is my cousin funeral and i cant leave state to be at it.. he was one of the marines lost and found dead in napal. .he was only 22 yrs old. Very sad day...off to work feeling this way. :(
Police Abduct 10 Children From A Family In Kentucky Because Of Their ‘Off The Grid’ Lifestyle
Joe and Nicole had done nothing to violate the law whatsoever. All of their kids were happy, healthy and very intelligent. But because the control freaks running things in Kentucky got wind of their “off the grid lifestyle”, they have now had all of their children unlawfully abducted from them.
