Correct about the pig person

Recently the news of pig person is popular on website here. Many person said that there are several pig persons in a area. But finally we have the answer about it. Actually the truth is that they are the sculpture photos from an artist named Patricia Piccinini. It is very realistic and make people full of imagination.

The name of these "pig person" is "the young family".It was exhibited in wearefamily series for the Australian Pavilion of the Venice Biennale in 2003.It was exhibited in Hara Contemporary Art Museum of Japan in 2004.

There is a center idea about it in Patricia Piccinini's mind. That is the imagination about near relation between human, science with nature. The format is according to pig person sculpture exhibition to discuss the relation between biological gene research with human.

In the future, the combination of man and nature, the family will produce what kind of scene? How will the evolution of the natural process change in human genetic engineering? Is it "good"or "bad"?This is the key point of the ethical discussion of genetic engineering.Piccinini's art works there is no strong criticism. The subject of his work "we are a family" is an inevitable prerequisite. We can not keep out eyes to the development trend of modern science and technology.Only after get the scepter of God it is human's burden.

Kat Von D...

Tattoo artist, Katherine Von Drachenberg aka Kat Von D came on my radar a generation ago. Her work was flawless and intricate with the kind of details you'd expect to see engraved on a $100 bill.
She became obsessed making herself the canvas and naturally, the artists who worked on her couldn't come close to her perfection to detail. By that time, I lost interest in her work as she became in the spotlight of drama and culture.
It's been years, but I see in the news today that tattooing has gone beyond designs and people are getting solid blacked out ink... Kat Von D is also on the list getting blacked out tattoos of a new trend. Well, hey! forget about all those beautiful details, just dip your arms in black and cover them up!

My Kingdom For A Horse!

Here is another of those amazing pictures. How many horses do you count? This time I really don’t know how many. I get a different number every time! Some people cannot even see any at first.

Another tip (maybe)
Look at the legs and follow it up.
There is at least one foal.

More luck this time? I’m still stumped. As I said, a different number every time!

Books and Reading

I recently came across a Best Books list, and thought it would be interesting to see what people thought of it, and if they had read many of them (No, watching the film doesn’t count laugh )
‘Best’ is subjective, and this list is probably Western-centric, but it does cover a lot of genres.

I can never remember not reading, from earliest childhood to the present day. Reading has always been an important part of my life. It is how I discover new words; new styles; new ideas and new worlds.

As kids we used to trot down to the local library on a Saturday morning to gleefully choose our books for the week. I didn’t read many classics as a kid, I was more into Enid Blyton or other adventure books.
It was only as a teenager I started reading deeper books, but I still enjoy a good mystery/murder novel.

I prefer to watch Shakespeare plays being performed rather than reading them, and I, to my shame, have never got to love James Joyce. I never really liked romantic novels either, especially chick-lit.

I love travel books. I get totally engrossed in the journey and the adventure. Dervla Murphy was my favourite travel writer growing up. She was so independent; fearless; bohemian and different to the people I knew in real life that I loved her, and followed her travels with glee.

Apart from all Oscar Wilde books (he is my favourite author, being witty and irreverent), a few books stand out in my mind as being memorable:

The Alchemist by Paulo Cuehlo
Sarum by Edward Rutherford
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Lorca
A Place Apart – Dervla Murphy
Gulliver's Travels - Dean Swift
Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre

What are your favourite books/authors.genres?

Best Book list to follow....

Tribute to Marilyn Monroe

A friend made this tribute to Marilyn Monroe and granted me permission to post it here. It represents the tragedy of her death.

Look at this amazing picture. How many faces can you see? I can find none! liar Although I like to sketch with a pen or a pencil, I wish I had the gift to produce sketches of this kind. I think too’ flat’.

A tip. Forget that there is a tree. Look for faces!

Whats your fave stone/crystal?

I would normaly look at stones as a pile of dirt but lately I've taken a certain liking for stones and crystals since I received them as a gift.
I'm probs weird but i've always been fascinated in knowing more about them.

I started out by collecting a batch of 25 gem stones and now my collection has grown. No, i wont be keeping chunks of rock in my room if you're already thinking of that lol
rolling on the floor laughing

I know we all love diamonds and rubies but have you ever been drawn to a different stone than the shining ones :P Even limestone or granite if you're into that.

I love the rose quartz. love
