Whats your fave stone/crystal?
I would normaly look at stones as a pile of dirt but lately I've taken a certain liking for stones and crystals since I received them as a gift.I'm probs weird but i've always been fascinated in knowing more about them.
I started out by collecting a batch of 25 gem stones and now my collection has grown. No, i wont be keeping chunks of rock in my room if you're already thinking of that lol
I know we all love diamonds and rubies but have you ever been drawn to a different stone than the shining ones :P Even limestone or granite if you're into that.
I love the rose quartz.

Here everybody like to have many kind of stone. Not only Jade but rubies and other beautiful stone you can find it in here.

Maybe Kalpataru can upload any kind of stone that you can find in Indonesia in her next blog, not only about fruits and leafs.
Gemstones is a science on its own...there are many people who believe these stones have special properties such as healing, relaxing and forth. The Rose quartz is known to fix a broken heart (or something in that order)... The Rose quartz also makes a stunning light ...only a big piece with a hole inside for a light bulb...The pink in the quartz is then really very pretty when you have the light on.

@LonelyfromAfrica and Johnny_Sparton - Its supposed to have healing properties. I didnt know that till after i received mine. So far ive kept it around and it seems to have a soothing effect. It maybe psychological i dunno lol...but i guess it does have some form of energy that can be felt if used the right way.
And Johnny......perhaps it might just have powers :P

@robrt..lol...pumice eh..i remember playing with those stones when it would drift to shore...very light and i have heard that it could be used for cleaning.....i dunno about toilets though lols..

Naaahh.. I don't think so. I know nothing about stones except tombstone and I know nothing about cristals except cristal ball that can answer yes-no questions.
I like rocks. Just the plain ol' kind in the dirt. Lately I found a meteorite that had been crushed. Too bad I couldn't have found it before it was made into itty bits. Hee Hee! The pieces aren't spread out either. They are all in the same location. I don't disturb it I just like to look at it.
I will walk along places and find neat looking rocks and take them home!!
